Membership Renewal Date – February 15, 2024

*After a 5-year membership fee subsidy by our branch of $14 per member, there will be a $5 increase in our branch fee next year. There are no fee increases in insurance, BCRMTA or CFMTA fees.

If you wish to renew with cheques, please refer to the attach notice and mail your cheques and information update to our Provincial registrar.

Renewal is available until February 15th - please note the early renewal date -  after which a late fee of $50 will be charged. Renewal is effective March 01. On March 02, members who have not renewed will be removed from the website.

Documents Replacement: If a member did not receive their membership card, receipt and insurance certificate, the registrar must be notified within 6 weeks of renewal to have the materials resent without charge; if due to error in information given, a digital replacement will be offered. If a hard copy is requested a $15 fee will be charged. Any requests received after six week will have a $15 fee charged for digital or hard copy replacement.

This year our insurance company is requesting that our registrar not to create personalized insurance certificates. There is NO CHANGE is insurance coverage. Each teacher will receive a certificate which names Members of the BC Registered Music Teachers' Association as the insured.
