What did the Polonaise mean to Chopin and how did he teach it?
In this workshop, you will see the polonez as Chopin saw it: steps, pulse, and melody. We will see Chopin’s stylistic evolution from his first polonaises to the Polonez-Fantazja Op. 61. You will also learn Chopinian performance practice. Bring any questions you have about the polonaise or teaching Chopin.
