The Mary Tickner Pedagogy Award recognizes excellence in aspiring teachers. Ms. Tickner was a venerable member of our branch for many years, she was a supportive mentor as well as a skilled instructor and we are happy to be able to honour her memory in this manner.
The winner of the Pedagogy Award will receive $300 and a one year membership in the Vancouver/Burnaby Branch. To qualify, applicants must have completed a Pedagogy Diploma from RCM, BCCM or CC during the year in question, while studying with a branch member in good standing.

*The Provincial organization also offers the "BCRMTA Associate Teachers’ Award”. Pedagogy students may be eligible for both the local and Provincial award. Please click here to view the Provincial requirements.
